Stage One: Warm Up (1-2mins)

2.Do you feel nervous now?

3.How long have you been preparing for the test?

5.What type of aircraft are you flying and what other aircrafts have you flown?

Stage Two: Level Check (5-6mins)

1.In which season is a thunderstorm most likely to occur?

2.Have you ever flown into cumulonimbus clouds (CB)? Why are they a danger?

3.Are the thunderstorms different in northern China compared to southern China? Why?

4.Can you give a brief description of the weather radar system on your aircraft? Is it very easy to use?

5.Can you describe some stages of a thunderstorm?

6.What are the headwind, crosswind and tailwind limits of your aircraft?

 Stage Three :Probe (6-7mins)

1.Look at the picture, what kind of weather examples does it show?

2.Would you fly through this weather system? Explain your answer.

3.If you approach this type of weather during cruise, what would you do?

4.Is wind shear a possibility as a result of this weather? And why?

5.What are some possible effects on your aircraft if you fly through this type of weather?

6.In your experience which airports are you more likely to encounter wind shear? Do you know the reason?

7.Does your company have any special requirements or procedures regarding airport where wind shear is common?

 Stage Four: Wind Down (1-2mins)

1.How many passengers can your aircraft accommodate?

2.What is the maximum take off and landing weight of your aircraft?

3.How many hours do you fly every month?

4.Are you living close to the airport? 5.How long does it take you to get to the airport? Is there any good scenery along the way to the airport from your home?
